Playing the levels in the following order makes completing the game easier as MegaMan will always be equipped with the most effective weapon against the current boss:

  • GUTSMAN - standard weapon
  • CUTSMAN - Rock Toss
  • ELECTRICMAN - Cutters
  • ICEMAN - Electric Blast
  • FIREMAN - Ice Blast
  • BOMBMAN - Fireball
